Hatch House
Situated in South-west Wiltshire, this Grade II* listed house dates back to the 17th century and underwent a significant transformation by Arts and Crafts Architect Detmar Blow in 1908. MBA has been providing guidance on an ongoing restoration since the 1990s. This extensive project includes ashlar stonework for both the house and garden walls, chimney reconstruction, repairs to external doors and windows, and roof recovery. Internally, the restoration efforts encompass the reinstatement of the back staircase, new paneling in reception rooms, the installation of replacement timber cornices, floor repairs, plasterwork restoration, electrical upgrades, and many decorative enhancements.
