Roland Way
An exceptionally rare occurrence in Chelsea, this entirely new residence marks the end of a converted industrial building in a neighbourhood that underwent reconstruction for residential purposes in the 1960s following bomb damage from the Second World War.
The architectural concept drew inspiration from the extant 19th-century houses, with a deliberate simplification of details to yield a structure that is both contemporary and in harmony with its surroundings.
